How many subathon goals should I prepare?+

Prepare a short visible ladder plus backups. Five to eight public milestones is easier for chat to understand than a wall of 30 promises. Keep extra low-effort ideas privately with your mods in case the stream moves faster than expected.

How far apart should subathon goals be?+

Base spacing on your normal paid-sub activity, not another creator’s list. Put the first goal within reach of your core regulars, widen the middle goals gradually, and reserve one ambitious stretch goal. If the first rung looks impossible, the ladder creates no momentum.

Should goals add time to the subathon timer?+

Usually no. Subscriptions, gift subs, resubs, and bits can already add time according to your timer rules. Milestone goals should unlock content, while the timer controls duration. Keeping those two mechanics separate makes the offer clearer and prevents one event from extending the stream twice.

What subathon incentives should I avoid?+

Avoid dangerous food or physical challenges, permanent body changes decided under pressure, humiliation involving other people, unlicensed media, surprise costs, sleep deprivation promises, and anything your mods cannot safely manage. Also avoid rewards you may not be able to deliver after the stream.
