Twitch Bits Calculator
A Twitch Bit is two different numbers depending which side you're on. A viewer buying 1,000 Bits pays around $14.00, using Twitch's bundle pricing. The streamer who receives that cheer is paid a flat $10.00, at Twitch's $0.01-per-Bit rate. Enter any amount below to see both.

Streamer earns (exact)

Flat $0.01 per Bit, same for every Affiliate and Partner
The viewer-pays figure is an estimate built from Twitch's standard US bundle prices, which are cheaper per Bit the bigger the bundle. It excludes tax, currency conversion, and the roughly 30% markup on mobile in-app purchases. The streamer-earns figure is exact: Twitch pays $0.01 per Bit cheered, with no partner-tier split like subs have.
Two numbers, one currency
Why "Bits to USD" has two different answers
Most Bits calculators quote one flat number and call it done. Twitch actually runs two separate conversions: what a viewer pays to buy Bits, and what a streamer is paid to receive them.
Bundle pricing, not a flat rate
Twitch sells Bits in fixed bundles (100, 500, 1,500, 5,000, 10,000, 25,000), and the price per Bit drops as the bundle gets bigger. There is no way to buy "exactly 137 Bits" at a single flat price; viewers buy whole bundles.
Streamer payout is flat, always
Whatever the viewer paid for their bundle, the streamer is credited a flat $0.01 USD per Bit cheered. It does not matter which bundle the viewer bought, or how big it was.
No partner-tier split, unlike subs
Subs have a 50/50 vs 70/30 Partner Plus split. Bits do not. Every Affiliate and every Partner earns the same one cent per Bit, whether the channel has 10 viewers or 10,000.
Viewer-side bundle prices are Twitch's standard US pricing and can vary by region or promotion; mobile in-app purchases run roughly 30% higher because of Apple / Google store fees. The streamer-side payout, $0.01 per Bit, is the one number that does not change. Last verified August 2026.

Viewer prices assume buying the fewest, largest bundles available (100 / 500 / 1,500 / 5,000 / 10,000 / 25,000 Bits) to reach each amount, excluding tax and mobile app markup. Streamer earnings use Twitch's flat $0.01-per-Bit payout rate.
FAQ
Twitch Bits questions
How much is 100 Bits on Twitch?+
100 Bits is Twitch's smallest bundle and costs a viewer $1.40 to buy. The streamer who receives a 100-Bit cheer is paid a flat $1.00 (100 Bits x $0.01). The gap is Twitch's cut, the same way a card processor or app store takes a fee.
How much is 1000 Bits on Twitch?+
1,000 Bits does not match a single Twitch bundle exactly, so a viewer typically buys the 500-Bit bundle twice at $7.00 each, for about $14.00 total. The streamer's payout is exact regardless of how the Bits were purchased: 1,000 Bits x $0.01 = $10.00.
How much is 5000 Bits on Twitch?+
Twitch sells a 5,000-Bit bundle directly for $64.40, which works out to about $0.0129 per Bit, cheaper than buying smaller bundles to reach the same total. The streamer earns a flat $50.00 for 5,000 Bits (5,000 x $0.01), no matter which bundle the viewer bought.
How much is 100000 Bits on Twitch?+
100,000 Bits isn't a single bundle either; the cheapest way to reach it is buying the 25,000-Bit bundle ($308.00) four times, about $1,232.00 total. The streamer's payout stays exact and flat: 100,000 Bits x $0.01 = $1,000.00.
How much is 1000000 Bits on Twitch?+
One million Bits, bought entirely in 25,000-Bit bundles at $308.00 each, costs a viewer roughly $12,320.00. The streamer is paid a flat $0.01 per Bit either way, so 1,000,000 Bits pays out exactly $10,000.00. Very few single cheers ever reach this size; it usually adds up over an event like a Hype Train or a charity stream.
How much are Twitch Bits worth?+
It depends which side of the transaction you mean. To a viewer buying Bits, they cost between about $0.0123 and $0.0140 each in USD, cheaper in bigger bundles. To a streamer receiving cheered Bits, each one is worth exactly $0.01, a flat rate set by Twitch and unrelated to what the viewer paid for their bundle.
What is the Twitch Bits payout rate for streamers?+
$0.01 USD per Bit, flat. This rate has held since Bits launched and is not tiered by partner status, viewer count, or channel size. Cheering 1,000 Bits always pays a streamer $10.00, whether it comes from one big cheer or a hundred 10-Bit cheers.
Is the Bits payout the same for Affiliates and Partners?+
Yes. Unlike subscriptions, where Partners can qualify for Twitch's 70/30 Partner Plus split on top of the standard 50/50, Bits have no tier system at all. Every Affiliate and every Partner is paid the same flat $0.01 per Bit cheered to their channel.
Why is the viewer price for Bits different from the streamer payout?+
Because they are two separate numbers. The viewer buys a bundle of Bits at Twitch's advertised bundle price, in USD (or the local-currency equivalent, plus tax where it applies). Twitch then pays the streamer a flat $0.01 per Bit cheered, regardless of the bundle price the viewer paid. The difference is Twitch's share, similar in spirit to a payment processing fee.
Does buying a bigger Bits bundle change what the streamer gets?+
No. The bundle size only changes what the viewer pays per Bit, not what the streamer earns per Bit. A 25,000-Bit cheer pays the streamer exactly $250.00 whether the viewer bought one 25,000-Bit bundle or stacked several smaller ones to get there.
Last updated August 2026. Bundle prices and the $0.01-per-Bit payout rate confirmed against Twitch's current published pricing. Twitch can change bundle prices, regional pricing, or the payout rate at any time.
